The 7th consortium meeting of the Horizon Europe project BalticSeaH2 took place in Poznań, Poland, from March 24 to 26, 2026. The three-day event brought the project partners together for an in-depth discussion of the current status of the project and the next steps in its implementation.
The first day of the event began with an excursion to the highly efficient trigeneration plant operated by Promet Plast. On site in Gaj Oławski, participants gained insights into the installed infrastructure, including a wind farm, a BESS system, a 5-MW electrolyzer, and a container solution for storing up to one ton of hydrogen.
The second day focused on a visit to the H2Poland Expo. The project partners attended various expert presentations, including one on the topic “Infrastructure as an enabler for the Baltic Sea region’s hydrogen economy,” and used the trade fair to network with other stakeholders in the hydrogen economy.
The third day was reserved for the internal consortium meeting. It began with a closed session with the Polish parliamentary working group on the energy transition on the topic of “Cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region.” In addition, internal workshops and the general assembly took place. During these sessions, project-related topics were discussed, results were consolidated, and the next steps within the consortium were coordinated.
