The IWEN Energy Institute is very proud that the "HyTechHafen" project initiated by the Institute and the joint partners is developing powerfully. Even after the foundation of the company, IWEN will continue to play an active and decisive role in the realisation of the project. Since 1 November, Dr Ralf Tschullik, Managing Director of IWEN, has been working together with Michael Wurzel (EnBW) on the management board of the project company rostock EnergyPort cooperation GmbH. This important step strengthens the "Rostock Energy Port" strategy and the IWEN Energy Institute. The key points of the MV Energy Fund presented by the state government and the planned financial resources from the state and federal government are a strong signal for the project and secure the project co-financing. With the notification of the project by the EU, which is running in parallel, the way is now clear for an agreement between rostock EnergyPort cooperation GmbH and the federal government.
