IWEN is part of a consortium involved in an EU-funded project. The three-year BalticGrow project, which is funded under Interreg South Baltic, started on September 15, 2025. It aims to increase the acceptance and integration of green roofs. These are to be made more efficient and further developed, equipped with state-of-the-art measurement and monitoring technology. During the course of the project, a wide range of measurements will be carried out at pilot sites. All results of the project will be compiled in a technology catalog, among other things.
The project budget is €1.9 million and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the Interreg South Baltic Program 2021-2027.
