Many partners are involved in the transformation of Rostock's overseas port from a transhipment centre for crude oil, naphtha and fossil fuels to a producer and importer of climate-neutral fuels. An industry working group, in which we are actively involved as one of the eight partners, is jointly shaping the change process.
As an institute, it is our task to moderate the industry working group and to act in an advisory capacity for Rostock Port, one of the partners. The long-term goal of Rostock Port is to be an industrial centre for green hydrogen with more than 1000 MW of electrolysis capacity by 2030.
